Green & Gold for a Winter Wedding

If you're looking for the perfect colour scheme for your winter wedding, is there any better combination than green and gold? Whether you are planning your wedding at Christmas or the surrounding months, there is something about this classic colour combination which works beautifully at this time of year.

And we're not talking any green (although you know we love our vintage inspired mint green), no this time of year we're talking rich, dark forest green. The contrast between the dark colour and metallic gold is just magical and can be introduced with your shoes and accessories, as well as through rich, lush green foliage throughout your wedding.

Another great thing about forest or emerald green is that it can be styled in different ways to suit a wide range of looks. For our first look we've gone glam with a sleek ivory wedding dress with a fitted halter neck ivory lace bodice. Our classic Mimosa forest green t-bar works perfectly with this look, or go for our Mimosa flat for all the glam without the heel.

We've paired with a sophisticated emerald and diamond drop earring and a fine double gold bracelet- stunning.

Our second look is a little more romantic with this beautiful one shoulder gown with trailing three dimensional flowers- hello! Forest green and gold shoes and accessories provide the perfect balance for this look- who said pink was the only romantic colour!

A natural bouquet full of green foliage with white and ivory flowers completes the look and the best part- you'll be able to wear your shoes again and again and relive those magical memories (whilst looking super stylish of course!).
