Introducing Paloma Forest Green Wedding Shoes
Posted on October 14 2019
It was earlier this year we popped a sneaky little peek of our gorgeous Mimosa in rich forest green suede on our Instagram stories to see what you all thought and BOOM- a new star was born! In fact, demand was so high we launched her early and ever since she's been something of a favourite with our brides. So imagine our excitement when we decided it was time to give her a closed toe friend and introduce our new Paloma t-bar shoe in the same gorgeous green!
Made from the same rich dark green suede as Mimosa, Paloma is a design which was made for this sumptuous colour. The contrast of dark green with metallic gold leather is absolutely stunning and really emphasises the vintage feel of the design. The main shoe is made in the forest green suede, with gold leather straps on the side and an elegant gold t-bar. As you probably know, here at Rachel Simpson we love a good t-bar wedding shoe and this is one of the first we've ever done in a seasonal, sumptuous colour.
Paloma has a classic 9cm heel which is about perfect for a wedding shoe, as it's enough to give you a lift but comfortable enough to wear all day and night. The added bonus of a t-bar is the secure fit it gives you, as you can just buckle them up and not have to think about them again. T-bar wedding shoes are also really flattering as they're supposed to visually elongate the leg- who knew!
If you're looking for a vintage style wedding shoe this could be the shoe for you. The design is based on a classic 1920s t-bar design, and you can really imagine them being worn by any one of the Downton Abbey ladies to finish off their wedding or evening gown perfectly.
Forest green is the perfect colour for a more autumnal or winter wedding (and of course is perfect for evening wear after the big day), but if you're after a more traditional bridal feel fear not- Paloma is also available in classic ivory with the same metallic gold leather contrast. Both are beautiful and guaranteed to walk you down that aisle in true vintage style.
What do you think- forest green or classic ivory? We'd love to hear your ideas on styling our Paloma shoe :)
