Real brides & their Rachel Simpson shoes
Posted on August 12 2020
One of my favourite aspects of my job is seeing brides wearing Rachel Simpson shoes on their wedding day. It's what makes it all worthwhile and it genuinely makes me really happy every time we see photos of our beautiful brides and hear all about their big day.
Over the years we've seen our shoes styled so many different ways at so many different kinds of weddings. I absolutely love how everyone brings their individual style and unique ideas to their day to create something truly personal to them.
Having recently got married myself I know how exciting it is to share everything both in the run up and after the wedding day itself, so I'm always very happy when you decide to share your photos and stories with us! With all the challenges to weddings at the moment it's easy to get downhearted but I'm confident we'll get back to a place where we can all celebrate again. Until then let's try and keep hold of that excitement and positivity. Hopefully these gorgeous photos of some of our beautiful brides will help..
Rebecca & David- Mimosa mint
"Since I wanted to have that eclectic feel of 20/30s Hollywood, I knew right away I wanted to purchase Rachel Simpson shoes! I wanted a subtle but sweet pop of color that complimented all of our other elements while still tying into the champagne color of my dress."

Mathilde & Cédric - Mimosa quartz
"I just love sparkly glitter shoes and I love the originality and comfort of Rachel Simpson shoes too. Cédric actually helped me to choose them, unlike the dress which was secretly hidden until the big day!"

Nadine & Sinan- Cecelia ivory white
"I picked Cecelia because it fitted perfectly for our summer wedding and suited the style of my dress. The heel had the perfect height on which I could stand comfortably all day long."

Adele & Calum- Candyfloss gold
"I set out with quite a clear idea of what I was looking for in a bridal shoe - block heel, sandal, comfortable for dancing and gold with a bit of sparkle! They were an absolute dream to wear on the day and lasted through all the ceilidh dancing in the evening!"

Claire & Adrian- Isla ivory
"I wished for a low heel and vintage feel and adored the T bar style! I wore them sitting on the couch a few times prior to the wedding but otherwise didn’t ‘wear them in’ as I didn’t want them to get dirty! I wore them from 10.30am until close to 6pm when we arrived at our hotel with no issues or soreness at all!"

Emily & Adam- Gardenia blue
"I wore the blue gardenia as my ‘something blue’. I absolutely love Rachel Simpson shoes - the designs are stunning! They were so comfortable all day and night and looked gorgeous."

Caro & Chris- Mimosa mint
"I was in love with the colour combination of the mint and gold, so beautiful! After my engagement I ordered the shoes immediately. I was curious to see if the shoes would fit and was worried they could be too small and tight, but they fitted perfectly and were so comfortable!"
