Style the Winter Sale: Romantic Florals- Say it with Flowers (or Shoes!)
Posted on January 02 2020
There is something beautifully timeless about a floral theme, one which can be suited to such a wide variety of wedding styles. It can be vintage or modern, brightly colours or soft pastel, subtle or statement. But however you style it a floral theme it is always wonderfully romantic.
There are some beautiful shoes and bags in our Winter Sale, and today we wanted to focus on all things floral embellished and show you a few ideas on how to style them.
First up is Gabriella- possibly one of the most romantic shoes we've ever created. What really makes this shoe are the incredible flowers, which are made from a stunning mix of different colours- the leaves are metallic gold leather, with pearlised ivory and gold petals. In the centre is a gorgeous little bud of petals, giving the shoe a beautifully structured yet romantic look. The petals and leaves are cut using specially developed knives to create the scalloped edges, and are then combined by hand to make each individual flower.
Here we've teamed Gabriella with a classic ivory lace tea-length dress, to really show off the shoes!
I said before that flowers are super versatile and that's pretty true for the Gabriella shoe too. In contrast to the above look, below we've styled the blush version with a stunning, embroidered dress from Katya Katya which gives a really romantic look.
The blush version is crafted in soft nude leather with a metallic rose gold t-bar. Handmade petals in blush ivory, rose gold and gold leather are surrounded by metallic gold leather leaves.
Both colourways can be matched with the Georgia bag- a gorgeous mid-sized clutch with the same handmade flower trim. It is one of those handbags that looks amazing in the photograph, but you really need to see it in the flesh to fully appreciate how gorgeous it is. The leather is so super soft it feels gorgeous to hold, trust us!
If you want a floral shoe but are after a slightly lower heel look no further than the beautiful Lola-Rose. No less striking than her higher heeled counterpart, Lola-Rose is a real showstopper, with a large central flower, smaller flower to the side and tiny metallic gold leaves. We styled Lola-Rose with an baby blue tulle skirt and ivory lace top combo from Noni Mode for a modern romantic look.
Complete the look with the Lily-Belle bag, made from ivory pearlised leather and finished with two beautifully moulded leather flowers and tiny metallic gold leather leaves.
I hope that's given you a bit of inspiration on how to say it with flowers, and incorporate a floral theme into your wedding look. We'd love to hear how you're styling your flowers!
