Spotlight on Heyday Vienna
Posted on June 07 2019
One Friday back in May I hopped on the plane for a short flight to the beautiful city of Vienna to visit our longstanding stockist Heyday. We've worked with Heyday for many years now, and from the beginning we've loved their stunning concept store. They offer a stunning range of gowns from Anna Kara, Charlie Brear, Katya Katya and Lillian Wild among others, all complimented by an extensive accessory selection. There's something for bridesmaids too, with really easy to wear dresses by Goddess by Nature, and their recently launched own label brand- Heymaids.
If all of that wasn't enough, a trip to Heyday can actually add the finishing touches to the wedding day itself, as they also offer an amazing range of decorations to dress your table, theme your venue or add a bit of fun to the celebrations. There are delights from Ginger Ray and even an actual Pom Pom Bar- this is the stuff of dreams! In fact, they know so much about putting on a good party they're recently opened Heykids- a boutique next door selling an awesome range of children's party accessories, alongside beautiful childrenswear.
The store is the brainchild of Katharina, who runs it with her mother, Regina, with cousin Connie helping out on Saturdays. As soon as you step in to the light and airy store you feel incredibly welcome and at ease- just what you want when you're getting married! They are absolute experts in helping brides prepare for the big day, and it was a pleasure to see this in action during my time at the shop.

We had such a wonderful day- in between delicious Viennese coffee (and delicious vegan cookies from Katharina's sister's cafe), we met some gorgeous brides to be, who all found their Rachel Simpson shoes for the big day. It was an absolute delight to meet the lovely Connie, who, after trying on a couple of different styles chose the Cecelia shoes- we think she's going to be an absolutely beautiful bride!

In between brides we also had some time to play with some styling ideas, and created some perfect pairings of Heymaids dresses and Rachel Simpson shoes and bags- here's a few of our favourites:
